I create one-of-a-kind jewelry from silver and other metals, stones, minerals, beads, shells and found objects. As with my paintings, my inspiration comes from nature - flora, fauna, and an ever changing display of hues, shapes, and shades. Each piece of jewelry is unique. Many have evolved from paintings I have already created but as abstracted forms focusing on color, contrast, movement and shape.

I continue to paint with pastels and increasingly with oils. I am exploring figure painting as well as the land and seascapes that abound in Maine. I remain drawn to the juncture of natural elements -- sea, sky, land -- as light and shadow play upon them.
